The wood needs to be 2 years old to flower so if it didn't flower this year you will have to wait.Don't prune it except to train it. When it does finally flower you will need to thin the fruit to one every 4 inches. This is really difficult as we are greedy for the fruit! But it will avoid biennial bearing (ie fruit every other year) which is annoying.
