is clematis integrifolia evergreen or how do you treat it in terms of pruning/cutting back etc?

Answers

The C. integrifolia which I know of, is a herbaceous perennial type. It dies back to the roots in autumn. I clean it up early Spring to make room for the new growth.

Agreed! Not evergreen. it will die back and you can cut all the old growth away because it will grow again from the base.

How do I say thanks?
