I have a ph meter, and my soil reading is just to the left of neutral, that is slightly acidic - probably around 6. I want to try planting flowers that like acidic soil. Would they grow ok as it is, or should I mix in some ericaceous soil?

We're more or less neutral, leaning towards acidic, in my part of London and acid loving plants grow perfectly well here, so it'll be fine.

Thanks for your answers - I will go ahead. There seems to be so many more nicer blooms with acid loving flowers, fingers crossed
