After the middle of May in UK normally the time for using a cold frame (against frost) should be over. Next end of winter/early Spring you can start most veg in it, unless they are definitely not hardy - for example runner beans or cucumbers, lettuces...
Does your frame have a removable lid? If you're short of space you can still use it that way to grow just about anything in now, but I'm not sure how large it is - ?
