Last autumn I collected several horse chestnuts from Scotland, these I planted when I got home (Sussex) in ordinary mole hill earth, I now have 4 healthy plants, though one has completely white leaves, I assume that this is due to a lack of chlorophyll or could this be due to some other disease as I believe that there are several new ones around. Your comments please, Bob

White leaves usually means problems with temperature - is that particular one in a more exposed area, where its caught much lower temperatures?
