Planted in 2008 in flower, it failed to flower in 2009 & this year seems only to have produced one flowering stem. Its in light shade & the soil is rich. How to get it to flower?

Hi Layla and welcome to GoY is the soil moist? Camassia's like a moist soil, and grow naturally in damp meadows and by a streams in the States. The like light shade. Have you by any chance been cutting back the foliage rather than allowing it to die back naturally?
We have grown C. leichteinii from seed sown in June 2005, this is its first year of flowering which is what we would expect.
