I have a Drimys lanceolata for a year but it seems to have lost a lot of it leaves and has not flowered could you tell me why. Many thanks

If it was outside all winter, that's why - it doesn't like temperatures below -5 deg C and unfortunately, I'm sure that temperatures dropped below that on more than one occasion. If its still alive, cut off any dead areas, feed with something like Growmore and keep it watered to assist its recovery.
