Yes it is TT .. . I wanted something tall and evergreen to go to the back of my new pagoda sitting area , It will grow up to 4 mtrs. I won't let it get that tall ,it has nice red stems ....

Yes it was from a garden centre TT , a proper garden centre ,one of my favourites , , they only sell plants and very good quality healthy ones as well ...

It is going to be interesting Janey and Carole to see how fast it grows , I will have to stop it before it reaches 4 metres , it will be like Jack and the Beanstalk ...LOL..

Thanks Carole ,, i'm going to use this as a backing to the new Arbour we put up in place of the old wooden one we had to take down last year ... I want it to have tall shrubs all round it so it is like a little secret place with the little table and chairs inside .. :o)

You Do right picking "frost hardy " Amy after the winter we are having....and may well get in future. We have lost so many plants this year and in replacing will be particularly looking for ones that vcan survive harsh conditions...

We have a brilliant...if a bit ramshackle nursery nearby...the plants are out in all weathers.May pay a visit soon...and some of the ones that have survived the last couple of months can come home with us ! They dont charge much so after a bit of tlc...? Lol

It's a good idea to see which ones have survived outside , I don't like to buy the ones that they have to keep in tunnels at this time of year , it's not how they would be treated in our gardens .........

True...its going to be survival of the fittest in future...: O )
