Hopefully the liquid is just sap from the broken frond, and will stop. More fronds should arrive over time - you can always try giving it a shot of sugary water.

It looks healthy enough....as Bamboo says...give it a good drink of sugary water....Make sure you keep the trunk well watered too......

here here as it goes there isnt much life in the trunk most of the growth is in the top. even the roots are more for holding it up than for getting goodness.

No topgrowth from the trunk, Noseypotter, that's right, but you have to keep the trunk watered or sprayed - it's covered in roots which need water.
