Oh they absolutely luv um...Ive planted 15, 11 r ok so far. I cut the bottom off 2litre empty pop bottles and put them over mine until they r a good size. I did it last year too and im not losing as many.

Yes, they eat sunflowers. I planted several sunflowers from seed a few years ago and they ate the lot, didn't get a single bloom.
