I planted a tiny mock orange last year, in a sunny sheltered spot, it has trebled in size....but no flowers is this normal or will i have to wait another year ? I will appreciate any info...............Ta....Blortwick

If this was Philadelphus, then the wood needs to be a year old before it flowers. I hope that you haven't pruned out the older wood? Yes, you may now have to wait until next year, although these shrubs haven't flowered yet this year so you may be lucky and there may, yet, be buds.

I bought a Philadelphus last year it is only about 10" it is in a pot and the flower buds are jus starting to show now. I am loading it onto my computer now, if you go to my photos you will see the little white flowers peeking through
