There are some amazing wooden ones in a few places in Scotland used as holiday accommodation… not actually stayed in one myself.

I'd much prefer a nice hotel.

I would go for a tepee... More spacious.

I use them for runner beans but don't plant on the north side as they won't grow there.

prefer to grow beans in a wigwam rather than in a row if that is the question

A wigwam of peasticks is effective for sweetpeas. They look a bit untidy until the sweetpeas grow up, but there are plenty of twiglets for them to hold on to. They make a splash of colour and some height to a bare patch in the border.
I have also used wigwams of beanpoles for runner beans. A very firm wigwam of beanpoles will also support a climbing rose to good effect.

Hi Haley and welcome to GoY. If you mean for growing beans and peas up they are still used in Scotland. Could you elaborate your question a little please.
