My Acer Palmatum Dissectum has only had one branch turn to leaf this year. The others look like they are still budding but it's the end of May and surely should have happened by now? It's quite established - 5 years or so. Anyone else had this problem or know anything that can be done? Thanks

Hi Duncan all our acers are in full leaf. I had to trim off the odd bit that had been killed in the winter but otherwise they are fine. I think you need to check if the other branches are actually alive; scrape away a small amount of the bark with your finger nail if it is green underneath all is well - otherwise the branch is likely to be dead.
