I PLANTED A pink lady apple pip about 6 years ago which is now about eight foot high and very healthy new leaves have all come through once again and I would like to know do you think it will ever bear fruit, I have it planted near a coxes apple which does bear fruit every year albeit not very many apples but what comes are very nice
and it would make an old lady very happy if you could surprise me in saying it may one day bear fruit.
Many Thanks

Pink Lady apple trees do grow in the UK but the problem, as you seem to be finding, is to get the fruit to ripen before the light levels diminish and frost get to the fruits.
You will be more successful if you grow in a container and place the tree in a heated greenhouse by late autumn, they are flowering group 3 so most varieties that flower in the middle of the blossom season will pollinate it.

It might very well bear fruit - but you won't know what you'll get until it does, because, as you probably know, apples don't come true from seed.
