Thanks for your reply, we actually living in the east of england, Norfolk. The willow is not waterlogged all the time, only when we have a deluge of rain. With the soil being clay, it is very hard and does dont drain easily. I don't know which willow we have as the lables have disappeared, Dwarf upto 4 feet high

I vaguely remember a question about a willow dying, but can't remember it all, and because you're only a guest, I can't trace your earlier question very easily. Sounds like you had a Kilmarnock, but as I can't remember what you were asking, I can't say any more than that.
