Another old potted plant. I don't know what this is called. Is this salvageable or has it had its day? Many thanks

I think its a shrub of some kind - possibly a Euonymus or a variegated ceanothus, hard to say. Whatever it is, it looks like its run out of root room - turn it out and check whether its solid roots and if it is, needs potting into something much bigger or putting in the ground.

I think its perewinkle which should be in the ground not a pot. It has a very pretty blue flower but has the habit of sending out runners and needs to be kept in check. Good for shady areas and banks.
