Hi, you can take 3 to 4" long cuttings of semi ripe wood in august, put them in a sandy compost, and put in a cold frame, the following march or april, pot the rooted cuttings into 3" pots containing equal parts of peat, loam, leafmould and sand, put them back in the cold frame until october, then plant out into a nursery bed, and grow on for 2 or 3 years before planting out in their permanent positions, Derek.

I'm not sure if you can take cuttings, but you can layer them..as I did with mine..it took a while before I could sever it from the parent plant, but is now just as big..
