Can I spray my lillies with anything to try and prevent the beetle that kills them?

Answers

No - any treatments available should be sprayed when you first notice them.

Hi, welcome to GoY, as Bamboo says, there is no treatment to prevent them, but as soon as you see them, spray with either Bayer provado ultimate bug killer, or scotts bug clear ultra, don't forget to spray underneath the leaves as well, but you may not get to the larvae, as they live in their own faeces, and are more protected, just be vigilant, and ready with the spray, Derek.
