Hello all,
I'm hoping not to let the pests ruin my brassicas by investing in covers. I've noticed that 30g fleece is half the price of 7mm butterfly netting.
My question is can I use fleece all year.
Nursery sites say you can but would the fleece inhibit light and air to the detriment of the plants?
Thanks, Peter

No idea but wanted to pass on a tip I had from Diane Bulley as she hasn't commented. Last year she sent me a plant of Malva Moschata (musk mallow) to plant with brassicas to deter the cabbage whites and it really did work - loads of butterflies flying round but none landed.
