Help I have planted some pots and most of the plants have been eaten except the pansies and azaleas even the broom we planted has been eaten down any ideas

Snails will do that to broom - they killed mine.

Rabbits / deer are the most likely culprits for the woody things and any of the softer foliage you can add slugs/snails to the list.
