I have recently planted an Amelanchier Lamarkii, which flowered well and is now leafing up. What I have noticed however is that some buds have failed to open at all along certain branches, some in between ones that flowered normally. May they open yet?

They may do but it is not an uncommon event on mine. sometimes they do other times they shrivel and drop off.
