The last one looks like one I have whose name I don't know but it has sprays of tiny white flowers. I don't think corn cockle would be as tall as that this early in the season? Mine's hardly got started yet. Also wouldn't you say its leaves are more glaucous than bright green? If nobody is certain wait until it flowers and ask again!

My corn cockle germinates in November and is usually in flower in June....seeing as we're a good 2 weeks ahead this year, it seems about right.
It might not be corn cockle but the flower buds seems to say it is.

Wow, does it really? Mine don't get started until spring.I see what you mean about the flower buds. Don't you think it looks more like a perennial, all growing from one clump? I hope we get to see the flowers anyway. Simon, please put us out of our misery when they do flower and put another photo on?

Yes I will do. I have inherited a lovely mature garden with lots of things now coming through. Re the possible Corn Cockle, I have some in clumps and then others that randomly spread out around the garden. I will post pictures when it's in bloom. The Willow Herb has already been removed! Thanks for the interest

the pink flower [3rd photo] looks like a paeony flower to me. the tall green plant forming buds looks like Campanula perscifolia.
the lilacy mauve flower in 1 &2 looks like honesty to me.
corncockle leaves are softly hairy and the buds are similar in shape to rose buds to my mind.

The last one looks to me like dianthus, my corn cockle i grew last year had fewer thicker leaves, you could wait until they flower. p.

SBG I think you are right about the campanula.

Previous question
The first one (first two !!!) look like Willow Herb...an invasive thug that likes moist conditions
The second one looks like a corn cockle or Agrostemma...a lovely pink flowered wild flower.
