I need a border plant which is evergreen, tolerates a lot of sun and does not need too much water, can be a trailing or spreading plant. Thanks

Yucca flaccida 'Golden Sword', Astelia 'Silver Spear', and smaller Phormium varieties (such as Cream Delight or nanum purpureum) are all fairly drought tolerant once established and evergreen.
