Can anybody identify this shrub for me please? Also I would like to take cuttings to give my daughter so should this be done whilst flowering or afterwards? Thank you

Thanks for your your suggestions - will wait until mid summer. Cheers

Hi, welcome to GoY, I would say Choisya aztec pearl, but the leaves are wrong or C ternata, and yes to semi ripe cuttings in summer, Derek.

Looks like Choisya ternata 'Aztec Pearl'.
No plant seems to do well from cuttings taken while flowering, but if you can find non-flowering sideshoots you could try rooting those as softwood cuttings.
Or waiting until mid summer for semi-ripe might be more effective.
