I have planted a Hibbertia aspera in my Devon, UK garden. It is said to not be hardy and only should go in a conservatory, but I am trying it against a warm SW facing wall. A local guy has had one live a few years in a sheltered place. Has anyone grown it? What do they like/dislike? Any advice?

Hi, I have never grown this, as I live in a cold part of the country, they can sometimes stand temps down to freezing, more often about 41f, they may survive in devon, in a very sheltered spot, but even in the warmest parts of the uk, it's recommended that they be grown under glass, in john innes no 2, Derek.
