Identification please. Thought I'd posted this question yesterday but it hasn't appeared yet - so apologies if it's a duplicate! This pretty plant has just appeared under a conifer hedge. Looks familiar but just can't place it. Thanks a lot.

Children love them, if you gently squeeze the sides of the flower it opens and shuts like a dragons mouth :0)

When in the shower this morning (where I get a lot of inspiration!) it suddenly occurred to me that that's what it is!! Definitely a birdy present as nothing is planted under there deliberately. Thanks a lot

Clever birds! It should set seed so if you want more wait until they ripen and sprinkle them on the garden, you may get different colours

I used to love squeezing the sides of my Nan's snapdragons when I was a kid. She showed me how and then I was always doing it.
I have some in my garden this year. Some doing better than others.
I have red, yellow and white ones this year using the new B&Q teabag technology.
My Nan also had pink ones.

It's a Snapdragon or to give it its proper name Antirrhinum, probably a present from the birds :-) I found a lovely coloured one in my garden yesterday too, that I certainly didn't plant.
