I have only ever planted one member of the allium family - Nectaroscordum siculum, possibly 15 years ago. They have been very reliable and appear every year. However, I now have what seems to be onions growing in the same spot. Can you tell me, do they eventually turn into onions and can I eat the bulbs.
Thank you

No, they cannot turn into onions. You may have some seedling Nectaroscordum growing. I am not sure about the edibility, never heard of anyone eating them.
