My hollyhocks are in dire straits - leaves covered in rust. Will it affect the flowering? Should I dig them up? I don't use chemicals.

I have the same problem here, cannot use anything as they are growing in my dogrun, I have stripped the worst of the leaves off because they look so ugly, I did the same last year but still had some wonderful blooms....
