Is there anything you can do so the flower Hollyhock blooms each year? I've heard they are a biennial and get leaves the first year, flowers the second and then in the Fall they die. This is my all time favorite flower.

Just let them seed in your garden each year and you'll have flowers every year.

I've found dead heading the flower so it doesn't set seed encourages new flowers and in a few milder winters they have overwintered, to grow and flower a 3rd and 4th year.

How do I say thanks?
