So, I did it again. I had 4 "cut flowers" type plants and rather than waiting to buy more soil or transplant into the garden with its sand soil, I put all of them into one very large planter figuring it would be showy. Well, one of them flowered, one is large with no sign of buds and the other 2 are kinda puney but healthy looking.
Is it too late to carefully divide them and plant them separately or should I wait it out till after the "season" is over? I don't want to kill them and, by the way, I live on the coast where all year is considered a growing season. Thanks for any answer.

I'd split them too as carefully as poss. then replant and give them plenty of water for at least a month until they are re-established.

Hi, If I were you, I would carefully split them up, trying not to disturb the roots too much, put them where you want them, and keep them well watered, Derek.
