i have successfully grown Cucumber Burpless Tasty Green F1 which are now fruiting well but the two mature cucumbers ready to pick have small prickles on the skin will these disappear if the cucumbers are left to mature a little longer ? Or am I just used to shop bought and expect the skin to be smooth ?

I found the skins to be quite tough and had to peal them first!

The prickles are normal on the skins. Just wipe with your hands before using.
