Beetroot seed is quite large so as with Radish I use a pair of dental tweezers and sow them at the correct space.

Beetroot, radish and carrot are three veggies that hate to be re-planted after thinning!

....and on the tail of the above .... I have replanted beetroot thinnings and had a great crop. 'Luck of the draw' if you have the room to try it. :o)

Much easier as Heron suggests to plant at the needed distance these are not tiny seeds. Me, I'd get on with sowing another row of seds!

Not really as you will have pulled it out and damaged the roots. What you can do is sow more seed for he next month or even longer.
