Ivegot sweet peas growing in a pot at first they looked great but now all the bottom leaves are going brown and they look unsightly does anybody know what I can do to remedy this thank you

I do well growing sweet peas in containers but they need plenty of water every day. Liquid feed too. The experts tell you to cut the flowers every day but I let them flower but maker sure they do not set seed as that will soon stop any more flowers coming. Hope your's recover and you enjoy a good display from this beautiful, scented treasure.

Is the stem brown too?
General advice is cut off all affected leaves, spray with a fungicide, give them a high potash fertiliser ( tomato feed will be ok) and hope for the best.
They aren't the best of plants to grow in containers though.
