Is this an edible grape plant

Answers

even the ornimentle grapes produce fruit as mine does . theres just not much fruit on the seed . this is so birds can easily swallow the fruit and seed ans deposit it with its own manure away from the parent plant so yes it is if its a grape . id look into the upkeep if its grapes you want as too get big grapes you need too weed them out and keep the plant cut back .

it doesn't look like the grape vines I grew so not sure.
A close up of the leaf /stalk and any flowers/'grapes' would also help.

Agree with SBG leaves don't look right for a grapevine and we need a close up to be sure.

Well I dunno whether I'm going mad, but the picture I can see shows a pair of feet and a ground cover plant of some sort, or at least a low growing one. Not a grape like object in sight, is it just me?

Creed3 why are you calling this a grape plant?

At first sight I thought it was the old fashioned heuchera, before they got all up market. Its not that. But not a grape vine.

Agree Bamboo a pair of feet and a ground cover plant not a grape vine in sight!

Why I say grapevine I was in a garden center and they had something with leaves exactly like this and it was labeled muscadine grape. Which if you do a google search the leaves look the same suposedely a wild grape plant from the south which fits .I am 95 percent sure it is the same muscadine grape it is just good to be totally sure.it has no grapes yet but not knowing I hit it with the mower.

Sorry grapes a a vine not a ground cover plant this is not any form of a grape vine.

It's a pity your photos are such poor quality, its impossible to see clearly - the bottom one has poor contrast and odd lighting, and the top one looks foggy.

Muscadine grape does have vaguely similar leaves, although I'd have expected taller growth with slightly larger leaves, but, as I say, its impossible to be sure without higher quality photos, and if you've hit it with the mower, that makes it even harder. You could just leave it alone and see what happens as it grows.
