Hi, looking for advice regarding identification of this plant and pruning tips? I had a wonderful response to an earlier similar post and hope you can all help again.

I assume its the one to the left?
can you take a close up of the flowers, did they have a scent, what colour? is the tree evergreen or does it lose its leaves in the autumn.
from what I can see it could be one of many shrubs.
generally though if the plant flowers in spring prune after flowering if in late summer then in the spring/late autumn.
need an id first really.
