Identification please (and apologies if this question appears twice, for some reason it hasn't appeared first time of trying). On holiday in South of France (poor me!!) and this pretty, small, tree is in our garden.

Yes, definitely. A wonderfully aromatic tree which puts me to work when it drops its flowers an seed pods. It's leaves close up at night and right before a thunderstorm.

Looks like an Albizia to me !!!!!!

Hi, I think on balance, I would say Albizia, possibly julibrissin,f, rosea, both are in the Mimosacea family, but the branches don't seem to be spiny at all, Derek.
