I have a courgette plant which is flowering beautifully but the flower heads keep falling off - Can you tellme why?

Hi welcome to GoY, once the flowers have been pollinated, they are no longer required so they drop off, leaving the plant to get on with what it's there for, ie, producing courgettes, Derek.

You get female flowers before male ones so the early ones aren't pollinated.

This always seems to happen each year and they will turn into courgettes when they feel like it - I promise!
