My azalea has recently finished flowering and there are some waxy pod-like things starting to grow at the ends of some of the leaves. This happened last year. Does anyone know what they are please. ?

These will be 'galls', the home of small bugs. Probably best to just leave alone for now ay the azalea still needs its leaves.

Many thanks - I haven't actually found any bugs in them yet but it is quite possible.

They don't seem to do the plant any harm as I usually just pick them off.

Thanks for your help.
