Can you please ID this plant for me?
It appears to be growing from this stump. I can only assume it has been cut down but won't be defeated!

So it might not be a "plant" at all?

Looks like what I call 'Orange Blossom' but I can't find it on the web.

I think my SO means Philadelphus or 'mock orange' and yes it does look like that. We wage a battle with on e that grows in the hedge between our and our neighbour's garden and suckers...

So it needs to come out then?

If it is Philadelphus, you might want to keep it, if its in a place where a large shrub would be okay - fragrant white flowers about now or later in June, usually.

It's in what was once a bed but we were going to try and dig it out and move it to another part of the garden. I don't think I'll bother now! Lol

it can be a handsome shrub if kept pruned. but if you dont like it then the old heave ho, but dont over exert yourself. it will have a good root run.
