Growing allium from seed - is it worth it?
I've just cut the dried heads off my Gladiator Alliums (they were getting bashed about as I move things about the yard).
I've saved what seeds hadn't already dispersed and I'm wondering if anyone has bothered to grow these from seed rather than bulb. I've popped them in a bag in the fridge for now.

Depends whether you are prepared to wait 3 - 5 years for them to become flowering size bulbs really.

Put Alliums from seed into the Search on here and there is a good thread on this subject.
