this year i have ended up with a 55lb paper sack of early potatoes to use before starting on 2nd early and main crop for storage how long will these early keep i have them in the shed covered with sacking to try and keep them cool and dark the spuds are quite big and between us we only eat 2 or 3 a day

Answers
Our first earlies last until Christmas without any problems. They have even been know to last longer. In fact we do not bother with main crop since the Firsts and Seconds last us until next season.

Which variety id you plant Snoop? Some will store others won't.

Rocket 'should' be okay, just keep on doing what you are doing - cool and dark and check once a week.

The usual way with 1st early new potatoes is only to lift as needed as they do nor, generally, store well. You might want to consider giving some away to family and friends.
