Gifted plant. I was given this plant as a gift and I think it's a penstamon? All it says on Tesco label is 'Summer flowering Perennial' No sign of actual name of plant on lable! Unbelievable! Any ideas which variety? Many thanks.

Seaburngirl-what a good idea! Wil email and see what comes back. The end of the stems are very droopy even when it has had a good soak.
steragram - thank you for that Id.

I used to have Czar but mine was a paler lilac than this one.

It matches mine.

Steragram -I think you're right. Although given with best intentions -the plant does not look happy and droops heavily even when watered and has a white wash of something over the top of plant. Have planted in garden but do not hold out much hope.:(

well it is a penstemon but there are so many like this for flower form that I wouldn't know where to start. I though I had id one of mine then in a gc today I saw 2 others that it could be.
why not email Tesco and ask them if they have lists of names or at least their supplier.
