Growing allium from seeds
- 23 Jul, 2014
Answers
they grow easily from seed as I am always weeding out self sown seedlings. I've also grown them in pots. I started them in a john innes seed compost and sowed them in August and left the pots outside in the cold frame. The following year I repotted the bulbs that had formed into multipurpose compost. They [Purple sensation] finally flowered in yr 3.
