I need to know when to pick them and wear do they grow is it ok to keep them in that pot though they are baby sweet corn I forgot to say so is there a difference how they grow

Ok, you will get big flowers emerge from the top....these are the male flowers and contain the pollen.
You will then get kind of sideshoots appear lower down with tassles on...these are the female flowers which will eventually turn into cobs.
If you give the male flowers a daily tap, all the pollen gets released onto the tassles.
They are ready when the tassle's turn dark brown and also, if you peel back some of the green outer leaf coating to reveal the cob, they are ready when, if you pierce one with your finger the liquid is milky rather than clear. If it's clear, it's not ready.
Wouldn't hurt to give them a feed....Miracle grow until the cobs/flowers form and then a tomato food after that.
