When deadheading my lupins, I accidentally broke off a living branch and new growth.
Can they be rerooted, or should I just put them in water and treat them like cut flowers.

Lupins are good for cut flowers, put them in a vase of warm water. Cut stems at an angle before putting them in vase, trim half inch off stems every 2 days (depending how long they last) this stops stems closing up and stopping water getting through
