Never managed to get that to germinate,so never seen the plant in the flesh so to speak.
You can see why it gets its common name of 'Fiddleneck' though.

Germinates well enough for us, or it did when we had a nice big veggie garden to sow green manure in :(

I sowed seed 3 yrs ago and I keep weeding out the unwanted ones. Can be a bit of a pest like forget-me-nots.

Some popped up in our garden a few years ago and nobody seemed to know what it was. I thought it had come from bird seed.And then I found out that its actually sown as a green manure crop by some farmers. Oh, just noticed Moongrower mentioned that. It didn't seed around though and has disappeared now.
