I planted a small cherry tree this year in a large pot. It had been doing well but in the last couple of weeks the leaves have turned brown and dropped off. I have kept it watered and fed. How can I revive this and why has this happened?

I suspect the pot was too large for the tree and it has become waterlogged. The pot does have drainage holes and is raised up off the ground on feet or stones? It you are unable to plant in the ground then replant in a smaller pot and don't feed keep the soil just moist not soaking wet.
