Now that the moss in my lawn has dried and looks dead because of the dry weather am I safe to rake it out or will this not help?

Hi, welcome to GoY, you can rake it out now, it will do no harm, but you will have to try and remove the cause of the moss, round about september, rake it again, then spike it, if it is a large lawn, you can hire a machine for this, and then spread lawnsand, this should help the drainage,which in turn will help get rid of the moss, Derek.
