hi all, question about cuttings, i took a series of hydrangea cuttings, 8 to be exact. while some are doing really well and starting to produce new growth a couple are struggling with there leaves turning black at the edges, i wondered if there is a reason for this and therefore a cure for it,

I would imagine that they haven't 'taken', that's all. Give them a gentle tug and find out - if they're loose, I'd bin them. You don't want fungal infection on the ones that are doing well - if it's botrytis, it spreads fast.
