Sounds like dryness at the roots - in pots or in the ground, how long have you had them, what's your watering regime?

Bamboo could be right but if you look at my photos, just put on ,the Olive tree in the pot has bigger olives than the free standing tree which never has many at all but that dos,nt bother me as I like the year round foliage,kerryvw

Read I paper today about a disease which is spreading throughout Italy and other olive producing areas in Europe where the trees are drying out and dying. They haven't yet found a cure.

Its called Xylella fastidiosa a plant bacteria and around 800,000 trees or 10% of trees in Puglia are now infected and is believed to be "a very serious threat" to European agriculture. Read this in I - (Independent) today.
